Job Description Analyst: Business Analysis, Visio, J2EE,

[Note: * Technical BA (5 opens positions -onsite)
* Onsite in Westlake, TX office on a daily basis. Travel may be required to client locations for due diligence - potentially up to 2 full weeks in duration, but travel will be minimal after completion of due diligence.]

Description :
Working with additional Business Analysts, internal business and operational Subject Matter Experts and the Project Management staff, gather project requirements based on evaluation of the Clients current state environment. Perform side-by-side shadowing of line level operations and document business processes, workflows, manual work-arounds, training procedures, standard operating procedures, adhoc reporting, etc... Develop future state functional specifications for acceptance by the client and provide guidance to the technical team in the development of the proposed system.

Responsibilities :

* Participates in identifying business process requirements and related business/application solutions for a specific business need.
* Gathers requirements for customized solutions and provides alternative solutions.
* Creates documentation of current business processes, including visual process flow diagrams.
* Performs gap analysis between current system and requirements against future system.
* Works with business and operational subject matter experts to define Best Practices for future workflow processing.
* Produces functional specifications for hand-off to technology team for technical design and development.

Scope of work :
System Analyst work for CMR projects. Includes requirements analysis, SOW, sizing, and data/process mapping

Required Skills :

* Technical Analysis and Design
* Experience in authoring business and technical artifacts (BRD, FRD, TS, TRD etc)
* Strong knowledge of SDLC and experience in working with UML 2.0.
* Java/J2EE/MDM and Database PL/SQL skills
* Working knowledge ESB/Tibco
* Familiarity with ETL/Ab Initio desired
* Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
* Very good analytical and communication skills
* Basic project management skills

Qualification :
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience :
5-7 years of related professional experience. Strong skills with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Visio. This is a high visibility client facing role. Consulting background and strong verbal skills are critical. Heavy experience with Visio is a MUST HAVE skill.

7-10 years
