The worker should be familiar with best practices and public sector industry standards for the PeopleSoft Financials Supply Chain Management/Procurement modules. The worker should also be familiar with the State of Texas Procurement business processes • Reviewing and becoming familiar with the PCS Procurement business processes. • Interviewing stakeholders on the organizational and approval structures that will be used in the PeopleSoft configurations. • Defining and documenting PeopleSoft parameter, configuration, and core control data. • Installing the eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contract modules in a test PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment. • Applying the parameter, configuration and control data in a test PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 environment for proof of concept. • Identification and documentation of system gaps in relation to the PCS business processes. • Recommending business process changes to meet best practices and/or avoid PeopleSoft modifications due to documented gaps. Required Skills: * Building consensus with stakeholders * Analyzing requirements gathering from management and end-users * Developing, writing, and implementing Functional Configuration Documents * Strong experience with Microsoft Word and Visio * Work experience in the information technology industry * Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication skills – presentation, written, verbal; ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner * Experience in business process reengineering * PeopleSoft Financials Experience version 9.2 with emphasis on eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contracts * Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials Experience * Strong client negotiation and demonstrated consulting skills * PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management Implementation experience with the Public Sector Desired Skills: * State of Texas Oracle/PeopleSoft Financials Experience * PeopleSoft Financials Experience (version (8.x and higher) with emphasis on eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contract Management * State Texas Procurement/Purchasing Experience * Experience with state government, federal, or complex private sector organization * Experience in conducting Fit/Gap or Conference Room Pilot sessions * Experience with Government Procurement Systems offered as third-party solutions   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
