VDEM requires a network architect to work with VITA infrastructure vendors for networking and security to review current infrastructure logs and determine the as-is state for the primary location. VDEM is moving into the COV network and requires resiliency and redundancy at the emergency operations center to ensure availability of mission essential functions for day-to-day operations and emergency activations.
