We have a 24-month project with our client in Schenectady, NY that requires a Senior Business Analyst Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Service Access Management (SAM) - To help the organization achieve SAM goals, enhancements to the EAA tool within CHOICES are required. Enhancing the EAA Tool and including a separate sub-form for Community Habilitation will provide staff with a mechanism to track and monitor timelines and outcomes for Community Habilitation service authorization completion, the authorization review steps required, and the number of units requested and authorized. QA Modernization Program - there are 5 remaining modules in the old QA system that still need to be re-written from the unsupported Oracle Forms application to the new supported JAVA application. Survey Redesign - 5 Additional survey modules are planned to be developed to streamline the current paper survey process. Three Oracle Forms applications need to be re-written into JAVA. Rate Setting and Voucher Processing are currently underway, Senior Companion, and Automated Employee Relations are being evaluated. The project manager will be assigned multiple managed care/healthcare-related IT projects and be called upon to lead teams of business sponsors, team leaders, business analysts, SMEs, stakeholders, developers, and others to complete projects on time and within budget. Manage project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closeout. Create detailed project plans, including the WBS, task definitions, time and resource allocation and tracking, and resource leveling. Develop/document project management artifacts including the business case, scope, charter, change control, communications plan, and other related project documents. Manage, facilitate, and report on assigned projects. Assist with and facilitate project communications. Mandatory Qualifications: Plans, organizes, and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. 60 - 84 Months Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 36 months experience managing information technology (IT) projects related to managed care, electronic health records, and the health care industry. 60 months experience creating and maintaining IT project plans using Microsoft Project, including developing detailed project plans, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the project budget, scope/change control and analyzing workloads, project milestones, dependencies, and critical path. 60 months experience writing IT deliverables, including business and functional requirements as well as design, development, testing, and deployment plans. 60 months following PMBOK guidelines creating IT Project documentation, including Project Plans, business case, charter, scope, communications plans, WBS, schedules, risk management plans, and issue logs. 60 months facilitating communications with diverse groups including executives, managers, technical experts, and subject matter experts for IT projects.
