From a technology perspective, the resource will be responsible for the administration and engineering work of WebSphere Portal and WCM versions 6.0 and 7.0, WebSphere Commerce versions 6.0 and 7.0 and WebSphere Application Server versions 6.1 and 7.0. The resource will be working alongside other WebSphere Platform engineers. Required Skills: Mandatory: Enterprise platform experience with IBM Commerce 7.0 with Commerce Search / SOLR Great to have experience: IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0 IBM Portal 7.0 Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.0 WebSphere ExtremeScale Apache Web Server MUST HAVES WebSphere Portal Administrations experience with advanced knowledge of WebSphere Application Server Administration (Note: An ideal candidate is someone with the ability to administer the entire eCommerce platform stack (WebSphere Portal, WCM, WAS and Commerce) - Minimum of 3 years of WebSphere Portal administration and/or at least 5 years of WebSphere Application Server Administration experience (Note: Just development experience is NOT enough, however prior development experience is a plus) - Must have the ability to learn new technologies on the job (like Commerce and WCM, if they dont already have experience with those technologies) - Must have good communication skills, both oral and written DESCRIPTION OF WORK: - The resource will be responsible for the administration of the WebSphere eCommerce stack namely Portal, Commerce, WCM and WAS. - Responsible for working with resources from the developer team, configuration management, release management, performance engineering, QC team, DBAs, integration services infrastructure and other backend systems. - Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues and must be ready to engage with the various team mentioned above. Since most of the development work happens off-shore (India), the resource must be willing and able to work with the off-shore development teams. With the differences in time zones, this may be during night time (US). Additionally, the resource will also be placed on an on-call rotation to support the production systems after appropriate training has been provided. SKILLS: - WebSphere Portal/WCM Administration 6.0/7.0 WebSphere Commerce Administration 6.0/7.0 - WebSphere Application Server Administration 6.1/7.0 - Minimum of 5 years of experience with administering WebSphere Application Server 6.x / 7.0 - Minimum of 3 years of experience with WebSphere Portal/WCM or WebSphere Commerce - Experience with Linux (SuSE 10 & 11), Windows 2003/2008, AIX - Excellent testing, technical and analytical skills - Ability to work with developers, diagnose and resolve issues quickly - Ability to multi-task - Experience with MQ and Message Broker a plus - Experience with other JEE application servers a plus - Prior JEE development skills a plus - Experience with CA APM (Wily) experience a plus - Experience with Identify and Access Management systems a plus - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent command of the system development life cycle GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Install application server software and create the necessary environments required by the system development life cycle. - Configure all environments to each applications specific requirements (such as JDBC, JMS, web services, High Availability, Session Management, Security, Service Integration Bus, etc.). - Proactively tune each environment as well as reactively   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
