We are seeking an experienced senior developer to be an integral part of this team. Youll be bringing your years of experience to bear as a hard-core agile .NET leader and developer to solve challenging engineering problems quickly and efficiently, creating frameworks and APIs and providing mentorship and guidance for other members of the team. You will be working with, and providing focus to, software for global financial markets within our Core Development team. Duties Include • Provide senior-level systems design, development, programming, consultation and support for next generation core banking application based in C# and .NET 4.0, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms. • Conduct design and code reviews across projects • Participant in estimation of effort and duration required to deliver product features. • Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the capabilities, characteristics and requirements of existing and emerging information systems technologies. • Provide technical support to departments on software and systems developed. Provide training and ensure knowledge transfer for future maintenance and support. • Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation of modified or new technologies and/or frameworks; provide technical leadership and assistance to colleagues, users and staff. • Maintain and apply good understanding of business practices to effectively fulfill responsibilities and demonstrate customer focus in all aspects of the job. • Design, develop and implement unit and scenario testing for existing code base and for new functionality under development. • Play an active role in the design and development of new code. • Mentor team members in adopting tools and technologies that will increase overall efficiency and effectiveness. • Work on infrastructure backlog tasks as assigned. • Participate in scrum agile development process. Qualifications • 7+ years experience developing with .NET and C# • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent • Extensive experience with .NET 3.5, C# and technologies such as WCF, WPF, WF • Experience and familiarity with .NET 4.0 preferred • Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems • Strong SQL skills a must, experience with Oracle a plus • Strong problem solving skills • Banking industry experience preferred • Deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science fundamentals • Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems • Thorough understanding of security-based design patterns • Solid experience with Agile development, Scrum in particular • Hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle • Solid track record of shipping production ready software • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a collaborative effort • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills • Excellent analytical skills and p   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
