They will not be doing the performance testing themselves but will be creating test plans and reviewing test cases. This is a contract that goes through October 2012. Job Classification: Systems QA Analyst 5 Position Description: Experience Level: Bachelors degree plus 7-10 years related experience including familiarity with testing automation tools Description: Responsible for handling the most complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues. Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts. Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process. May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents. Uses advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems. Researches new products and industry methodologies and facilitates the deve! lopment of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Plans and directs quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitors project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff. Stress, Performance and Load (SPL) Test Engineer in the Lending Quality Assurance (LQA) organization is responsible for: the creation, customization, and maintenance of performance test scripts and libraries; evaluation, analysis and documentation of the performance of tested enterprise applications; providing feedback to project team and management for current and future reference. Provide technical guidance to LQA peers, developers and architects regarding the implementation of performance automation during the testing phase of new/modified code. Develop and maintain performance library with focus on potential reuse. Create clear documentation to scripts for the benefit of peers who are not involved in the scripts creation. Collaborate with support teams, architects, and developers on analyzing performance test results. Report findings constructively to application owners and to management in accordance with the LQA SPL teams process. This is a highly specialized role requiring proven enterprise experience with scripting in the HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) performance tool. QUALIFICATIONS -Proven ability to comprehend complex, enterprise systems including front-ends, middleware, services layer, database, back-end and downstream vendors. -Enterprise experience using HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) 9.x. -Working knowledge of the following LoadRunner protocols: Web, Web Services, .NET, J2EE, Oracle, PowerBuilder -Demonstrated experience in developing, debugging, documenting and maintaining performance test scripts. -Experience working collaboratively with business analysts, development and quality assurance colleagues. -Demonstrated ability to work independently.
