Job Description Developer: WebServices, Documentation, Test Coordinating, Troubleshoot

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Design and code from requirements and functional specifications.
Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement code to extract, transform and load data.
Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot batch processing for data flows.
Develop and consume web services.
Produce technical and user documentation as requested.
Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support.
Implement security models.
Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
36-60 Months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

48 months of experience with cloud-based data platforms
48 months of experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP services
48 months experience with REST web service security (OAuth/SSL)
48 months experience with relational databases
36 months experience with ETL and batch processing frameworks/platforms
Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related field
