This position will lead the design, build, and implementation of a web-based data collection system and provide technical leadership and guidance to other developers on the project team. Sample Tasks • Execute all visual design stages from concept to end. • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas. • Analyze user needs to implement Web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity. • Develop web site maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet project goals, user needs, or industry standards. • Design, build, or maintain web site, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. • Establish and design guidelines, best practices, and standards. • Provide clear, detailed descriptions of web site specifications such as product features, activities, software, communication protocols, programming languages, and operating systems software and hardware. • Develop and document test plans, testing procedures, or test results. • Design and implement web site security measures. • Establish backup and recovery standards. • Develop or implement procedures for ongoing web site revision. • Select programming languages, design tools, or applications. • Develop databases that support web applications and web sites. • Write supporting code for web applications or web sites. • Recommend and implement performance improvements. • Create web models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data models. • Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. • Develop and document style guidelines for web site content. • Provide knowledge transfer. Minimum Qualifications • Five (5) years experience in Website Design/Development role including C#.net/ASP.net core o A Masters degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelors degree substitutes for two years, or an Associates degree substitutes for one year • Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Website Design/Development role using MVC Core developer tools • Two (2) engagements lasting more than six (6) months leading a software development team Desired Skills • Proven work experience as a web designer/developer • Proven work experience training and mentoring software developers to support skills growth and development • Work experience in system integration with SQL databases • Work experience designing, developing and implementing SQL databases. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio • Experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, bootstrap, JQuery and APIs • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps • Proficiency in visual design and wire-framing tools • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively • Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
