This team is responsible for the management and migration of application code through the multiple Test and Production environments. They accomplish this task through administering multiple tools and employing various scripting techniques. The team consists of Source Code Management, Build, and Deployment experts. Additional Responsibilities: The Code Management team works with IT business partners to ensure their application code is successfully migrated from development environments into managed, distributed on-prem and cloud-based environments. They are not involved in the development of their business partners applications, but they do move the apps from environment to environment. Perform day to day to support of code management tools through service requests and incident tickets. Perform daily health checks on code management tools and environments. Provide input into the strategic roadmap for code management. Required Skills/Experience: Experience with at least one of the following technologies/methodologies: Java hosting, Windows, Linux, Websphere, etc. Application development knowledge Source control tools like Git, GitHub, Subversion, and TFS CI/Build Tools like Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, CIrcleCI, Artifactory, Concourse, etc. Deployment tools Like UrbanCode Deploy, Release, Jenkins, etc. Code management in a cloud environment. AWS a plus Strong Linux command line (Bash and Shell experience) XML Software development lifecycle with emphasis on the deployment phase Experience in Server Administration, UNIX/Windows: Linux - Santiago, RedHat, Centos, IBM AIX severs, IBM HTTP Web Servers, Windows 2008 R2 & 2012 R2 Experience maintaining Scripts such as Shell, Perl, Bean Shell and exposure to Python scripting Release/Change Management process by doing end to end automated integration/deployment process Version Control Systems – IBM Rational ClearCase, Atlassian BitBucket/Stash, GitHub, Subversion Continuous Integration/Deployment – Urban Code Anthill Pro & UDeploy, IBM Build Forge, Atlassian Bamboo, Jenkins, Team Foundation Server (TFS) Experience with Middleware – IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, RedHat JBoss, Microsoft IIS, Azure Cloud Working experience with bug/change tracking & Document Content Management tools – Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint, HP Remedy Build tools such as Ant, Maven, C++ and front-end applications (AngularJS, NodeJS) Puppet Waterfall & Agile (Scrum) Applicants will also be evaluated for the following: Ability to demonstrate agility in learning Ability to gather requirements Ability to work with little supervision or guidance Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to identify process gaps and propose solutions Ability to assist in an on-call rotation off hours Ability to multi-task and be flexible Ability to demonstrate strong work ethic Ability to build and sustain effective working relationships – both internally and externally, including at executive levels both within IT and the business units.
