This position takes general direction and receives guidance in terms of broad goals and organizational objectives. Primary responsibilities of this position are to create and implement a program and process for the forensic collection and analysis of digital data, and the creation and implementation of a program and processes for pen. testing, advanced persistent threat (APT) discovery, and technical incident response coordination. Work will be done in the context of the entire computing environment. Work closely with security operations within and across organization leveraging operational security tools and data sources. Direct activities of workers for Information Security activities. pen. testing and incident response may extend to other locations. Min requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other related area, or equivalent combination of years of experience 10+ years progressive experience with both a detailed technical knowledge and hands-on practice working in one or more information security disciplines Experience with security tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro, etc., as well as other various commercial and self-developed testing tools Experience leading penetration testing, application testing, and red team engagements Experience with scripting languages such as python, ruby, POSIX shell, as well as familiarity with programming languages such as: C/C++/ObjC/C#, Java, PHP, or .NET Understanding of operating systems administration and internals (Microsoft Windows / Linux) Understanding of TCP/IP networking at a technical level Understanding of Web protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, and SOAP) Understanding of Web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, JSON, and REST) Familiarity with social engineering techniques Experience with EnCase of other forensic collection and analysis tools Desirable Requirements: Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other related area Security certifications such as CISSP, EnCE, GIAC GPEN, GCFA, GCIH, CEH Compliance certifications such as QSA or HCISP Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, FERPA, PCI Experience deploying and using a wide selection of open source and commercial security development and testing tools (code scanners, fuzzing, using proxies in security testing, etc.) Experience with malware analysis Experience with vulnerability scanning tools/services such as Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7 Weve got the right opportunity.
