This is the first step in the discovery process for gathering equipment and labor requirements and cost to build the WiFi services at YSC. The YSC campus (222 Paul Scannell Dr.) also includes Building 15 Girls Camp Kemp and DPW Building (Central Plant). The services required from the vendor are as follows: • An 802.11 AC/ABGN preliminary design plan that encompasses all areas of the YSC Campus deployment, to determine physical location and rates; receive signal levels, signal coverage, receive S/N, etc. Heat Map included • An 802.11 AC/ABGN passive interference study needs to be performed for the entire planned deployment area in order to determine if any current or rogue 802.11 AC/ABGN signals will interfere with the Countys efforts to build and operate an 802.11 AC/ABGN wireless network for this facility. • An 802.11 AC/ABGN active study using a staged access point capable of generating all signals in the frequency plan used by the 802.11 AC/ABGN standard for the purpose of measuring actual signal propagation in the environment to be installed. • Documentation of all aspects of the requested services. Part of the documentation are floor plans that are included in the request. Detailed heat maps with legends are to be provided to County. Maps shall also show locations of Access Points in relation to IDF. • Requisite skills should include a certified CWNP engineer or equivalent with at least 5 years in designing 802.11 AC/ABGN networks and all studies are to be performed using AIRMagnet or equivalent 802.11 AC/ABGN modeling / study tool sets. • Access to areas to be mapped will be dependent upon access granted by entity utilizing the area.
