They are responsible for High Level Design (HLD), feature standardization and defining or providing guidance around key configuration parameters. The Services System Engineer is responsible for mapping small scale vendor agnostic architectures (limited number of network elements and limited interactions among elements, e.g. Web Proxy/Content Optimization solution) to vendor specific implementations. Job Duties AND Responsibilities Develop new technology recommendations. Develop and document detailed High Level Designs (HLD) based on requirements and architecture. Develop and document test plans based on HLD. Develop engineering standards and guidelines to be used at CLIENT for LTE, VoLTE, IMS, and RCS. Provide subject matter expertise on wireless data platforms that support LTE, VoLTE, IMS, and RCS. Act in the role of cross functional technical expert for the integration of new technology into the network. Responsible for creating end to end solutions for new features and/or services in the context of new deployments. Conduct lab trials and trial testing activities for new features and technologies related to new technology services. Run, participate and/or be responsible (depending on RACI matrix) for the RFPs, technical trials and proof-of-concept work for new technologies introduced into CLIENT Conduct lab trials for new features and technologies related to core network elements. Maintain business guidance related to the vendor ecosystem and technical implementation of leading-edge technologies such as LTE-Advanced, NFV, SON, 4.5G and 5G. Partner with vendors and internal CLIENT teams to plan CDMA, LTE, VoLTE, IMS, and RCS architectures. Job Requirements: Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills.
