The support team is expected to be on-site (Monday to Friday) at the project office space located in Athens, Georgia. Please provide two rates in the proposal: (1) An hourly rate inclusive of all travel and expenses and (2) A second rate in the case of working remotely. Payroll Consultant Requirements 5+ years of hands on experience with either PeopleSoft Payroll, Commitment Accounting, or Work Force Administration. Experience in mapping client business processes to PeopleSoft software with minimal customization 2+ years public sector and higher-education experience Tasks may include the following…. o Provide production support requests and issue resolution to the 25 schools currently live In some cases provide the following for the 3 schools not yet implemented o Conduct / Document Business Process Requirements o Facilitate Fit/Gap sessions to determine configuration and identify potential customizations (with a goal of minimizing customizations) o Author functional specification documents o Facilitate configuration and application security decisions o Configure the system to meet the USG business requirements o Develop/document test conditions, scenarios, and scripts o Conduct system and integration testing o Provide knowledge transfer to USG team members Payroll Specific Requirements o Configuration of North American Payroll (Salary Plans, Salary Grades, Pay Schedules, Earnings Codes, Payroll Calendars) o Multi-Job / Multi-Location Support o Integration with 3rd Party Tax Provider, Cobra Administration and Garnishment Administration o Setup and Configuration of Retro Pay o Integration with PeopleSoft Payables for pay benefit and tax liabilities o General Ledger Integration o Encumbrance Projection o Non-resident alien reporting integration (Glacier) o Department Budgets and Job Earnings Distributions Advise on options, risks, and any impacts on business processes or systems Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Demonstrate understanding of setup tables, integration points and reporting Experience with PS Query and SQL is needed Proactive in completing the job assigned with little direction and be adaptable to changing job requirements Ability to work cross-functionally with variety of people to accomplish goals and support others.
