Job Description :

It is the nations 2nd largest Information Technology Staffing organization, has an opening for a Drupal Developer to work within one of our large clients in the Des Moines, IA area. This 12+ month contract with the possibility of extension.


The successful candidate will work with the communications team to develop pages for an existing Drupal 8 website.

This person will be the lone web developer on the team – primarily working on the Drupal website.

Technical skills we are looking for include:

Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Extremely fluent with HTML5/XHTML and CSS
Experience designing and developing responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery
Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery
Experience working with PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery
Knowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
Comfortable working with debugging tools
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Experience creating custom Drupal modules
Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing)
Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture

Roles and Responsibilities:

•Perform advanced programming and technical development for website and Internet development.

Skills and Technologies:

Technologies including Microsoft SharePoint, Ektron, Drupal, Convio, and Kintera may be used for content design/development. Could include various technologies and roles including HTML, CSS, CSS3, UI, JavaScript, JQuery and APIs, Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.), and e-Commerce
