Gain a thorough and in-depth understanding of the Interface environment technical architecture and all components of the assigned applications, including all middleware and operating system components. Design and develop solutions that clearly address the business objectives identified. Create software architecture documents and models according to the Commonwealth systems development methodology. Work closely with other Analysts, Developers and Technical Leads in a highly collaborative environment. Candidate must be proficient at utilizing development tools to move data from a source to a destination, ensuring the quality of the transportation is high and transformations are successful. This position requires intelligence, flexibility, creativity and initiative. Ensure that work done meets business needs and will execute correctly and efficiently within test, QA and production environment by creating technical design artifacts, working with a high level of proficiency, performing detailed and thorough testing and actively participate in walkthroughs of artifacts. Create technical documentation in the approved format for the task assigned Attend and participate in troubleshooting sessions with support personnel Qualifications Education, Skills and Competencies Experience with XML Data Mapping and or XSLT Transformation. Experience working with software integration as an interface developer or designer. Clear understanding on various communication protocols TCP/IP, SFTP, FTPS, VAN and FTP. 3 years of Core C#, VB.NET or Java programming experience. Experience with Oracle PSQL and or Microsoft SQL Server Transact SQL. Must have demonstrable Linux/Unix basic administration skills. Extensive experience with Windows 2008. Experience utilizing integration software / middleware tools like WebMethods, BizTalk and IBM MQ. Hands on experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and Web Services and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) design patterns. Must have experience resolving any data issue with internal staff, customer/vendor and Value Added Networks Experience with source code control tools, defect tracking and testing tools. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Ability to understand, appreciate and adapt to new cultures and ways of working.
