The qualified candidate develop SharePoint templates, predefined and custom workflows, SharePoint team lead capabilities and best practices, data view web part utilization, custom web part development, and complex troubleshooting. The candidate must have experience deploying SharePoint solutions from staging to production environments. Strong SQL configuring and querying skills, thorough knowledge of database schema and ODBC connection is imperative The SharePoint Architect analyzes the agencies information architecture, understands institutional and departmental requirements, to design and develop organizational taxonomies, policies, procedures, and solutions. As a SharePoint Architect, individual will be required to design and implement an appropriate portal solution that aligns with various departments vision. She or he will be required to take lead in defining governance around the SharePoint that will provide architectural authority on best practices, delivery model for implementation of an effective portal. • Migration from 2007 to 2010 SharePoint Server. • Develop planning and performance monitoring for systems operation • Develop project plans for 2010 deployment by review technical requirements, design objectives, establishing sandbox environment, planning server configuration and performance, plan for failover and disaster recovery, integration and maintenance. • Developing an information architecture • Building and enterprise content management system • Optimizing information Security, data protection and recovery availability. • Developing an optimal search and “findability” topology • Collaborate with various programming and product groups within the agency to ensure the required features and modifications are included in the appropriate releases to support cross-product features. • Extensive knowledge writing code for custom web parts and features and is experienced deploying list and site templates. • Solid experience with UI development (Web Forms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT) and business logic development. Expert in creating SharePoint templates using XHTML and including ASP.NET code and other SharePoint-specific markups. • Complete knowledge of SharePoint Web parts, their use, and how they are customized and applied to SharePoint templates, especially those used for Web publishing and collaboration. • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of workflows and event handlers and demonstrate experience packaging custom code for building and deploying solutions Requirements • Designs, developments, customizations and integration efforts of SharePoint solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, and Business Process and Forms • Facilitate design sessions provide technical leadership for solution development, guiding design/development activities and reviewing product deliverables for functional, performance and architectural conformance. • Highly-developed analysis skills in consulting to identify business and technical requirements and formulate solutions to complex business problems. Skills • MCTS certifications in Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) configuration and/or development preferred. • 5 years related Information Technology experience required that includes deployment and development with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) • 5+ years of experience developing complete websites, applications, workflows, database schemas, and business processes • Ability to Architect SharePoint solutions including planning Security, Performance, Integration, and Server Configuration. • Experience with working in structured projects and the ability to design a   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
