The IT Architect Sr will connect the IT technology strategy to the business unit strategy to produce a long-term combined view and ensure project alignment with other projects. Responsibilities include gathering, investigating and analyzing user requirements for business processes and/or technical systems; conceptual design of implementation strategies on assigned products and projects; preparation of resource estimates, evaluations and recommendations; and develop and maintain necessary documentation of systems, projects and/or processes to ensure understanding of system details. The IT Architect Sr enables and promotes technology and team level continuous improvement activities that increase the quality and value of product delivery. This position requires advanced communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Also required is an excellent mixture of technical and business skills. Principal Accountabilities: Examine and evaluate current business processes and tasks, and develops ideas for improvement. 2. Convert knowledge and ideas into better ways of doing business or into new or improved products and services. 3. Participate in review, evaluation, and recommendation of new technologies. 4. Formulate actions and processes to support the defined goals and objectives of the business unit and organization. 5. Review and approve technology artifacts planned to ensure that the product or services produced are according to specifications, and that they are sufficiently sustainable. 6. Ensures alignment to supported technology stack with all provided solution. 7. Assist with the preparation of resource estimates, evaluations, and recommendations. 8. Identify, control and manage the impact of uncertain harmful technology events on the project and the project deliverables. 9. Use diagrams to help discover, communicate and understand the problem being solved and develop the software solution. 10. Use patterns as a fundamental structural organization schema for software systems. 11. Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Companys Corporate Compliance Policy. 12. Understand and support the policies, values, principles, structure and behavior 13. Promote continuous improvement within the project team.
