This role will be part of a team that supports the application and desktop virtualization hosting platform running on Citrix and VMware. The role will be responsible for designing and supporting infrastructure for virtualized desktop applications, desktops, and the tools for those supported those services. This role is responsible for participating in engineering and operational activities related to designing, implementing, and supporting of all desktop and application virtualization technology solutions that meet the needs of business operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Design, implement, and support virtual desktops and virtualized desktop applications running on Citrix and VMware hypervisors. * Design, implement, and support any supporting infrastructure * Provide documentation of designed infrastructure and services. * Understand end to end communication, from hardware, software, network and user. * Participate in creating and maintaining service roadmaps * Follow architecture and design best practices * Develops and adheres to IT and industry standards * Provide planning and support for existing platform * Participate and assist in product research, and recommendations * Stay familiar with new technologies as it applies to business needs * Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. SPECIALIZED SKILLS: * Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required). * Design and implementation experience with desktop virtualization in an enterprise environment. * Design and implementation experience with desktop virtualization in an enterprise environment. Working knowledge of VMware. * Design and implementation experience with App DNA or VMware ThinApp. * Knowledge of IT infrastructure components (Required). * Experience in migrating infrastructure and OS, Win2k8-Win2016, Win 7 to Win 10. * Automation experience preferred, but not required. Education/Experience: * Working knowledge on an airline IT infrastructure is a big plus. * 5-7 years Citrix or VMware experience. * Windows Server Engineering and deployment experience is required. * Experience required with delivering Infrastructure projects.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
