This is a great contract opportunity with this company. Responsibilities: Day to Day administration of Citrix XenApp Server 6.5, Citrix XenDesktop 7.1 (RemotePC) and other Infrastructural Components in Citrix (Database, Web, Access Gateway and License Servers) Install, integrate and troubleshoot applications on a Citrix XenApp Server 6.5 server environment. (In house and external applications) Troubleshoot network issues that impact Citrix performance on the LAN and WAN Perform incident and problem management duties. Manage and performance-tune Citrix systems, networks, and applications to ensure high levels of availability and security for the supported business applications on 2003 and 2008 Server Farms Review and deploy new Citrix patches and software updates according to best practices Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, Citrix environment Planning application customization, delivery and Strategies to support business requirement on an ongoing basis Participation in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure Citrix Server and Application provisioning and maintenance, provide the best user experience Ability to follow established processes and guidelines for Change Management, Release Management, Problem and Incident management Produce appropriate documentation of servers, environment, processes and best practices Integrate technologies to ensure Citrix system access, monitoring, control, and routine security evaluations On call support 24/7 when outages occur Primary Skills : * 3 years Citrix Administrator - Must have Xen App Architecture 5.0 / 6.5 experience with a medium sized enterprise environment * 2 years Active Directory experience and supporting Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 * Substantial experience integrating applications and troubleshooting co-existence issues on Citrix * Experience with Capacity Planning / Load evaluation * Experience with VM and physical environments * Experience with administrating 2008 RDS and R2 a plus * Ability to work with others in a widely disbursed, fast paced, team environment * Ability to work independently, excellent time management and organizational skill, excellent interpersonal skills excellent communication skills * Self motivated * Demonstrates initiative and adaptability * Strong problem solving and organizational skills * Exceptional documentation skills * Strong technical mentoring skills * Exceptional ability to think out of the box * Ability to coordinate a wide range of assignments by managing dependencies, expectations and effectively communicate with stakeholders * Must be able to create and maintain scripts (WMI, vbscript, powershell, SQL, LDAP), have ability to analyze data and troubleshoot applications effectively and present solutions to issues * Advanced Windows Server OS and Windows 7 skills (required) and a familiarity and understanding of other IT related technologies (AD, DNS, interactions between systems and functions). * Exhibit solid communication skills dealing with end users and executives Preferred Skills: * CCA /CCIA certifications * VBScript, Power Shell, VM, and SQL scripting experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
