Client is looking for a ETL Developer for a contract to hire position with one of our leading clients in Horsham, PA. Clients requires a F2F Interview so candidates should be local to the area

RESPONSIBILITIES :

-The ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) Developer builds scripts to move large quantities of data from source systems into an integrated data repository, usually a data warehouse.
-The ETL Developer will assist in defining the logical and physical data models, and the ETL architecture and standards, within the context of Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management solutions.
-ETL Development - Translates business and technical requirements into business application systems.
-Analyzes source systems and creates mappings to target database schemas.
-Defines and implements the required business transformation rules and logic.
-Provides expertise in the development of cross-functional software systems using disciplined software development processes.
-Designs pieces of the logical and physical data warehouse schema.
-Using data warehouse design principles and best practices develops suitable data models for data integration from multiple, disparate data sources (including legacy systems, relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc.)
-Optimizes ETL and data access performance.
-Analyzes slow running processes and determines root cause.
-Works with database administration to define and implement solutions to overcome poor performance.
-Identifies and manages data quality issues.
-Reviews data qualities issues that are reported and identifies root cause.
-Recommends non technical actions to business partners for consideration.
-Works with peers and negotiates best fit solution if cross system dependencies exist.
-Develops appropriate actions and manages the resolution to implementation.
-Participates in planning sessions with clients, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements, assess feasibility of solution, develop detailed functional requirements, and provide design recommendations.
-May serve as a project lead or technical lead.
-As a project lead, prepares project plans and resource estimates, assigns and manages project responsibilities, and performs status reporting.
-Or as a technical lead, assists in defining project plans, resource estimates and status reporting.
