Job Description Developer: Oracle 11g, datawarehouse, Oracle PL/SQL,

The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.
Complete Description:
The incumbent serves as a Senior Oracle Database Developer for DW/BI solutions with the Bureau of Business Solutions & Services. The incumbent will perform new development and maintenance in an Oracle Data Warehouse environment. The incumbent will develop and maintain tables, views, queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers and functions, complex ETL processes, structured and ad-hoc reporting solutions. Technologies leveraged include Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter and Business Objects XI.

Specific Duties:

1. Meet with end users and technical staff of all types to gather data requirements
2. Perform intensive data analysis on source system data bases. Analyze and understand source system database, find required data, and profile the data.
3. Diagnose, analyze, troubleshoot and choose appropriate solution to fix data related issues.
4. Develop oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, including packages, procedures, functions, views and complex queries.
5. Develop complex ETL in Oracle PL/SQL and/or Informatica PowerCenter.
