datawarehouse ETL SAP Consultant (Jobs in Columbia, SC)   Requirement id 3455 Job title Consultant Job location in Columbia, SC Skills required datawarehouse, ETL, SAP, Open Date 29-Mar-2011 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Consultant: datawarehouse, ETL, SAP, [NOTE:A.HOW MANY RESUMES DO YOU WANT TO REVIEW AT ONE TIME?:All that qualify B.POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION] DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Within project schedules and other defined deadlines, candidate will provide functional and technical services including: • The Data Architect / modeling expertise • Gather data information requirements and document • Work with others to investigate numerous source systems and identify data fields of record • Model source data into an integrated, high performing data warehouse design, allowing for robust reporting and analytical capabilities • Model a tactical operational data store when time is of the essence, adding “dimensional”, quick-to-implement refinements to source data layouts • Developconceptual, logical and physical data models • Work with source system, ETL and database administrators • Participate with management to develop implementation and maintenance strategies, processes, procedures and best practices for integration processes • Review and help refine Hardware specifications, current landscape and implementation roadmap • Develop and execute unit, system and user acceptance test plans • Provide technical knowledge transfer via paired programming, peer coaching, and written documentation. • Provide effective and timely oral and written communications to management, peers and users • Identification and escalation of issues and risks to management in a timely manner REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • 3+ years of experience as the architect that designed data warehouses, data marts and operational data stores. • Experienced in full lifecycle of data warehouse delivery including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, training and support • Experienced in gather data requirements and facilitation skilss • Able to interpret business requirements, develop technical specs and test processes to meet requirements • Able to formulate technical resolutions to business issues • Problem-solving, troubleshooting skills • Work closely with others in a team environment • Able to work independently, self-motivated • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • Experience with BOBJ Universe Designer, WebIntelligence, Xcelsius and/or Crystal Reports • Experience installing and configuring BOBJ Enterprise, Client Tools, Xcelsius and/or Crystal Reports • MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Visio, Project) • Project Management experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
