The objective of the FACTS Reports Project is to help reduce the work backlog of reports for the Family, Adult and Children Tracking System (FACTS) application that have defects and to develop new reports. FACTS is the states federally mandated State Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS). FACTS is also the system of record for Adult Protective Services (APS) workers to use in their efforts to protect the adult population in Alabama. FACTS is a .Net application with a DB2 LUW backend. Currently the project uses DB2 10 for LUW, Crystal Reports 2013, Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2012 Source control, Visual Studio 2010 and Toad Developer. This is the full performance professional level for performing moderately to highly complex web application programming and systems analysis work. Web Developers in this class are responsible for independently analyzing and evaluating the existing FACTS application and designing and maintaining or developing new enhancements to support end-user needs. Web Developers will work with FACTS Business Analysts and users to define systems requirements and needs. Work at this level requires full proficiency in more than one programming language (C#, JavaScript, HTML, SQL). Web Developers are held accountable for achieving objectives and performing work in an efficient manner. Skills Required: 1. Ability to develop and maintain custom Crystal Reports from DB2 or SQL Server databases to extract and collect data using complicated SQL code with complex joins. 2. Strong database programming skills and proficiency in DB2, SQL, Stored Procedures, Indexes 3. Strong .NET programming skills and proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.Net web forms to manipulate databases or files and produce outputs and reports. 4. Ability to develop technical design and functional documents such as detail design documents and functional specification documents. 5. Ability to assist in post implementation support. 6. Ability to provide support by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results; work closely with users to establish requirements for new reports or modifications of existing reports, and to ensure proper testing and validation of completed reports. 7. Ability to work with technical staff to understand and anticipate problems and collaborate to resolve any web application and reporting issues. 8.
