This process can take two to three weeks and must be completed before the candidate can begin work. Responsible for statewide support of DIS hosted systems, customer application and personal computer systems. This includes support and monitoring to ensure availability to all systems users and to perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Responsible for on-site support of customers Personal Computer service, Workstations and Local Area Networks, for end users throughout the state. Will determine computer software and hardware needed to set up or alter systems and perform other duties as assigned. The primary focus should be on servicing client needs, providing support, responsiveness, and generally creating customer satisfaction. This process will require many technical capabilities as well as customer, vendor, and contractor interaction and relationship building. EXAMPLES OF WORK: 1.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware, security, and networking issues in a timely manner as to minimize losses in productivity. Telephone/remote is primary means of support, assistance is also provided via Email and onsite support as necessary. 2.Responsible for telephone/remote support of customers hardware and clients. 3.Responsible for troubleshooting end user related issues within the Office 365 service. 4.Requires exceptional technical capabilities, organization skills and relationship building. 5.Manage and maintain Active Directory users for internal and external customers 6.Support all facets of end user hardware and software for applications and services hosted by DIS.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
