The scope of services will also include problem resolution, analysis, re-engineering proposals and other functional support services at the discretion of the States Comptroller and Management at DFA Office of Accounting. This engagement will last for twelve months with the expectation to extend for at least one additional year. Roles and Responsibilities • Minimum of twelve (12) years of functional experience working with SAP in public sector client environments of similar scope and size. • Functional Lead experience with SAP functional expertise across large, complex public sector implementations for enterprise systems • Experience with SAP functional modules: FI (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger/Special Purpose Ledger, Fixed Assets), CO, MM (Purchasing, Inventory) • Experience leading and facilitating functional / technical workshop sessions • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing • Experience developing detailed functional business process diagrams and specifications • Be responsible for technical delivery of business solutions in the areas SAP FI, CO, Procurement, . • Be responsible for coordinating multiple migrations across multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and production); • Be responsible for designing and implementing optimal SAP configuration to maximize system functionality in the areas of finance and procurement • Be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades; • Be responsible for evaluating and confirming SAP maintenance (support packages, enhancement packs, kernel upgrades) through all systems; • Be responsible for developing and maintaining system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces (includes Functional Design and Application information documents); • Be responsible for knowledge transfer and skill growth to the State staff; • Ability to diagnose and evaluate functional process failures and determine effectiveness of SAP or custom-built repairs/fixes • Executing daily operational activities related to the SAP Environment including object transports, setup/configuration, operational SAP monitoring, troubleshooting and error handling, performance/tuning and problem determination/resolution; Functional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Minimum Years Public Sector Integration Certification 12 Business Process Redesign 12 Requirements Definition 12 ERP Vendor Selection 12 SAP ECC Functionality 12 Finance - General Ledger (Classic and New) 12 Finance - Accounts Payable 12 Finance - Accounts Receivable 12 Finance - Fixed Assets 12 Finance - Banking 12 Finance - Special Purpose Ledger 12 Controlling - Cost Center Accounting 12 Controlling - Internal Order Accounting 12 Project Systems 12 Public Sector Management - Funds Management 12 Public Sector Management - Grantor Management 12 Public Sector Management - Grantee Management   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
