This resource will play a key role coordinating training activities for varying audience types during an upgrade from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to act as a SharePoint 2010 expert and provide virtual and instructor led training to business functions across the enterprise: Develop and deliver SharePoint 2010 training content to a cross-functional audience (e.g. technical and non-technical users) Create and/or update instructional blogs, FAQs, recorded demonstrations, and other educational materials to reflect SharePoint 2010 capabilities Help clients learn to build and manage their SharePoint sites (includes technical how to as well as best practices and local governance) Engage with business and client facing IS to understand business needs and provide value using out of the box SharePoint functionality Qualifications: Minimum 1yr experience with SharePoint 2010 functionality (Permissions, Web Parts, Lists & Libraries, MySites). 2+ years experience supporting SharePoint High level of technical competency with Microsoft Office technologies and how they integrate with SharePoint Excellent communication and writing skills; a well rounded candidate shows proficiency in: Clearly communicating ideas to others verbally and in writing Explaining technical concepts to non-technical users Developing and organizing content that will be distributed online (i.e. writing for the web) Giving presentations to client groups Strong organizational and work planning skills Ability to perform detail-oriented work Experience in course development for both classroom and virtual training as well as experience conducting those types of training Aptitude to learn new technologies, and be able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment Additional preferred areas of knowledge/experience: SharePoint 2007 functionality (Permissions, Web Parts, Lists & Libraries, MySites) to point out differences between the technologies Experience with third-party tools and custom web parts such as Nintex Workflow and Bamboo Rollup web parts *******STRONG SHAREPOINT EXPERIENCE IS A A MUST FOR THIS POSITION*******   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
