Description:

Mandatory Qualifications
(Contract Specific)
The possession of a valid Radiologic Technologist license;
Seven years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible RIS/PACS project experience applying transcription and related integrated medical imaging systems principles, methods, techniques, and tools;
Five years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity;
Seven years experience performing in a technical application as a RIS/PACS/Transcription Administration with a medical imaging facility operations;
Current possession of Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) or Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Informatics or related radiologic sciences field or a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics;
Two years experience in implementation of RIS/PACS/Transcription application within a medical environment; minimum of two implementations;
Seven years experience/knowledge in computers, databases and IT networks in a healthcare IT setting used for image archival, clinical and/or administrative RIS/PACS/Transcription systems;
Seven years experience monitoring the performance of RIS/PACS/Transcription and Computed Radiology (CR) systems interfaces and overall network performance, including one year of hands on implementation experience with Nuance PowerScribe 360;
Seven years experience with medical coding knowledge and radiology revenue codes;
Seven years experience with Radiology/Imaging operations, technologist workflow, RIS/PACS workflow, radiology technology integration with RIS/PACS system to imaging modalities, and of Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine services.
