WEBLOGIC SERVER for Administrator.

Technical Expertise:

Application Server: Weblogic Server 10g, 11g and 12c
IDE: JDeveloper
Languages: Core Java
Operating Systems: Windows 2000/XP, Unix, Linux
Scripting Language: Perl script, Shell script, WLST (WebLogic Scripting tool)
DBMS/RDBMS: Oracle DB, MS-SQL
SOA Technologies: AIA,SOA, OSB, BAM, WebServices
B2B Technologies: EDI, Trading Partner setup, Document Definition.
Java Technologies: JMS, JDBC
Web Server: OHS, Apache

Job Role

Release, Support, Migration & design inputs to both weblogic/ SOA native applications.
Also mentoring off-shore team as part of service support migration.
Develop automation script to build weblogic/soa domain. SME in shell scripting.
Participate in design and conduct complete Operation Acceptance Test for any new system that needs to be supported.
Creating SOA/WLS Domain, maintain, upgrading troubleshoot any issues and investigate for performance tuning opportunities.
Automating and sending email alerts for weblogic/osb errors or issue through wlst/python/java/shell scripting. This helps us to proactively understand and resolve the issue within the SLA.
Work closely with the developers to understand any enhancement/new release and projects .
Assessing Risk with any new Change Request to Production and change in delivering services.
Reviewing the codes to check if there is any potential failure or performance issues before deployment.
A platform support analyst acts as focal point for the applications through which any planned or unplanned work is co-ordinate and managed.
Any incident in the PROD env is first analyzed and a brief summary is outlined for further analysis.
Setting up ldap users, database connection, deployment/updating application version, JMS connection, JDBC connection, creating specification for VIP. Building new weblogic environment (dev,sqa,uat,val,prod).
Constant improvement of the environment to make it more stable. Monitor performance of the weblogic servers and analyze if any tuning is required. Dealing with Application Memory issues like memory leak & tuning the heap.
Closely co-ordinating with other team for day-to-day availability of applications, manages fault queues and support changes/upgrades to the service through SPARC
Assist in ensuring Change is fit for purpose before being accepted into live; always considering the customer experience and integrity of data. Represent the teams services-related changes through existing O2 Change processes.
Understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and support the product.
Any knowledge of cloud based application or platform support is advantageous.
