Departments in FG3 include: Treasurer/Tax Collector (TTC), Assessor/ Recorder/County Clerk (ARCC), Auditor & Controller (A&C), Office of County Counsel (OCC), Human Resources (HR), County Communications Office (CCO), County Technology Office (CTO), Clerk of the Board (COB), Civil Service Commission (CSC), Chief Administrative Office (CAO), Grand Jury (GJ), and San Diego County Employees Retirement Association (SDCERA). The TTC and ARCC departments are each led by publicly elected officials. Skills Required: 1. 10+ years of experience leading a team in the delivery of technical services to high visibility customers with direct customer interface. 2. Working knowledge of the following infrastructure platforms: a. Mainframe b. Midrange c. Physical Servers d. Virtual Servers e. Storage f. Networks g. End User Computing 3. Working knowledge of the following application platforms: a. Client/Server Applications b. Web/Browser Applications c. Desktop Applications 4. Experience in delivering IT services in a complex technically and organizational environment 5. Experience working with and managing 3rd party vendors 6. Experience working with and managing leveraged and remote resources in a large corporate IT environment 7. Experience managing customer relationships and building trust 8. Communicates effectively, efficiently, and professionally, both verbally and in writing. 9. Is organized and thorough. 10. Possesses strong reasoning and trouble shooting skills. 11. Has a high level of attention to detail. 12. Is reliable and dependable follows through on commitments. 13. Effectively manages self, customers, and staff in stressful situations. Optional Skills: 1. Prior experience working in a state and local government. 2. Knowledge of state and local government software applications.
