Help define a strategic roadmap for e-business revenue generating efforts. Conduct strategic business and customer analysis to identify areas of opportunity and use the results to resolve problems and improve the customer experience. Coordinate and enforce Usability, Design and Information Architecture standards to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Develop ideas for enhancing existing functionality or identifying new functionality based on customer research, competitive benchmarking and partner needs. Project Initiation: Develop business requirements and coordinate approval across product LOBs, design team, Legal / Compliance, Brand, Enterprise Marketing. Partner with Project Manager/Business Analyst to develop Functional Requirements. Develop project communications plans to enable cross-team understanding of project impacts. Project Execution and On-going Product Management: Facilitate and drive decisions around scope, and critical project trade-offs. Ensure timely, high-quality and on-budget delivery of products that meet or exceed expectations. Manage initiatives across a complex, matrixed environment to achieve desired results. Provide direction and oversight to teams on the development and implementation of projects. Requirements: 6+ years product management or development experience. 6+ years of related business experience in product management, strategy and/or marketing in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries. In depth understanding of the Internet and its application toward sales production. Excellent verbal, written, presentation and influencing skills, must be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities. Team player and collaborator with demonstrated success in leading, influencing, motivating and building strong internal/external business relationships in a heavily matrixed organization. Proven ability and interest in understanding what drives other channels outside of Online (Eg, Stores, Contact Centers, ATM, etc). Demonstrated ability to think strategically, develop unconventional recommendations and build justification. Demonstrated experience leading projects that require integration of multiple channels, products and functional areas to success within tight timelines. Strong analytical skills in developing business cases, evaluating customer research, specifying product requirements and evaluating key success criteria. Demonstrated ability to present complex ideas in simple ways. Ability to handle and effectively prioritize several projects of varying complexity simultaneously. Preferred Skills: Prior experience at our clients firm or digital channels group, and/or MBA is a plus.
