(MAXIMUM 2 RESPONSES / PER VENDOR) Submission Deadline: 5/3/2018 5:00 PM Start Date: 7/1/2018 End Date: 6/30/2019 Client: California Public Employees Retirement System (CaIPERS) Description: PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks: • Facilitate and lead Joint Application Requirements (JAR) and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with customer representatives, developers, testers and other technical staff to ensure the customers needs are being met. • Document and maintain as-is and to-be process flow documentation including business activities and diagrams • Create and maintain business requirements document, design artifacts and requirements traceability matrix. • Analyze business scenarios and identify impacts to staff and customers • Work with team members to ensure that the designed products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined by the requirements • Conduct training sessions • Ability to work independently and use existing functional design documentation and online help documentation to further understand functionality • Performs analysis and development of IT business processes to ensure adherence to sound business process and IT best practices for internal and external customer support and communications. • Attend project, staff, and management meetings as required • Attend change advisory board (CAB) meetings and ensure all enhancements to the system are properly documented and evaluated prior to going to CAB • Assist test personnel with test scenarios and scripts. • Excellent communication skills both writing and oral • Perform other duties as assigned by contract manager • Prepare weekly status reports and submit monthly timesheets KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER Provide a narrative explanation describing the core processes that will be transferred, who the recipients are, transfer strategies that will be utilized, etc., or copy and paste the table from the Knowledge Transfer form. If knowledge transfer is not applicable, the justification form must be completed and signed by the division chief. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Refer to RFP 2014-7354, Section IV, Vertical 1.0.a Senior Technical Specialist/Lead for minimum qualifications required for this engagement.” Senior Technical Specialist/Lead: Functions at the expert level performing analytical work in systems analysis, design, development, installation, implementation, procurement, or technical support duties pertain to specified data processing systems, multifunction office automation systems, microcomputer systems, and/or teleprocessing networks. May act in a lead capacity on complex projects, work independently as a high-level technician, or may participate with other analysts on projects of a complex nature or broad scope • Must have the following experience based on the scope of work. • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years experience in project work in the specified area(s) of knowledge; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at a high level both technically and in measure of responsibility. • Must have experience in the analysis, design, development, installation, implementation, procurement, and/or technical support duties within specified data processing systems, multifunction office automation systems, microcomputer systems, and/or teleprocessing networks. • Must be able to monitor and resolve problems with information processing system hardware, software, and processes. • Must have experience in the analysis, design, development, installation, implement   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
