Start date: 7/1/2018 End date: 6/30/2019 Client: California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) Description: The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks: Maintenance & Support of INVO Systems & Processes • Provide application design, development and support for the new IDaP Cloud architecture • Provide detailed technical assistance based on existing application and scripted processes/interfaces to the various INVO projects. • Research Server less architecture by developing Azure Functions which are triggered by custom events like addition of a message to message queue. • Develop and support processes for file transfers to and from the different Investment Office vendors. • Develop/ enhance web user interface to interact with custom utility. • Mentor the ITSU state staff in developing a dashboard to display real-time file delivery status and job recovery notes. • Maintain documentation for all enhancements and changes made to any systems, Excel Macros Add-ins, workbooks, databases and processes for complete change history. • Assist staff in upgrade of the IDaP utility to enhance the performance and reliability. • Provide detailed technical assistance to ITSU team to reduce the current backlog of INVO requests. • Support established business processes for Data Integrity Group, Equities, Fixed Income, Operations, and TMU including, but not limited to: o Verify data loads in trade systems and correct if data fails to load o Assist with new reports, blotters, workflow monitors, adding users to systems, privilege granting, and research o Support trading tools, specifically Excel Macros, Add-ins, and Workbooks, provide enhancements as needed • Provide support for the Web Application that process AM/PM SWAPS for DIG team Standard Agreement Number: 2015-XXX Exhibit 1 Page 3 of 9 • Improve the monitoring capabilities of IDaP jobs and create dashboards in the new cloud architecture for ITSU staff to monitor and recover jobs proactively. • Assist ITSU in developing and supporting a DR/BR solution for IDaP. • As directed by TMU and ITSU, develop/enhance the Investment Data Processing (IDaP) utility to monitor the files received/sent by INVO users to external vendors: Duties include, but are not limited to: o .Net development o Administer the version controller repository of the Application and Infrastructure C# source code o Azure Cloud architecture o Mentor CalPERS staff as needed on C# and the solution design. o Create and maintain user interfaces for IDaP file transfer configurations. o Adapt existing processes to cloud architecture. o Provide periodic updates on progress to TMU and ITSU; escalate issues, as needed to appropriate CalPERS staff. Other General Tasks • Provide System Administrator training to appropriate staff for application trading systems and tools • As directed by TMU and ITSU, other tasks may be assigned as they are identified to support INVO business processes and/or system support and maintenance The Contractor may also be requested to perform other duties, as required, related to the completion of project work or other related technology objectives in the CalPERS Investment Office.
