Projects will be managed by following the CalPERS Enterprise Project Management Framework Process and by employing best practices based on Project Management Institutes PMBOK® Guide, IEEE standards, and/or the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Specifically the Project Management Services vendor may perform the following activities on behalf of CalPERS: *Manage a project on behalf of CalPERS *Manage a contract on behalf of CalPERS *Actively support the CalPERS Project Manager *Conduct facilitation and recording services *Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports *Conduct special assessments, analysis, and report preparation as required *Manage the project management processes, such as: o Project Integration Management o Project Scope Management o Project Time Management o Project Cost Management o Project Quality Management o Project Human Resource Management o Project Communications Management o Project Risk Management o Project Procurement Management *Prepare presentations for senior management *Prepare Project Plans/Feasibility Study Reports (FSR) *Manage any or all aspects of the system development life cycle such as: o Managing development of user requirements o Managing the development process o Managing the test process o Overseeing and managing systems implementations *Evaluate contractor deliverables *Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) *Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP) *Desired Skills: *Strong stakeholder management skills *Four (4) years security industry experience *Demonstrated experience managing security related projects *Experience with incident response planning and/or two-factor authentication systems *Security certification a plus (such as CISSP) *Knowledge of the CalPERS technical environment   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
