Hands-on experience developing in the SAP Business Warehouse (BW), with recent experience using version 7.4 (or higher) on HANA; prefer expertise in mixed modeling scenarios using SAP HANA and BW artifacts • 5 years (inclusive) of experience in designing and in developing Analysis Office workbooks with multiple data sources using exceptions, conditions, and formatting. • Advanced knowledge in SAPs BPC application skills, including creation of custom reports. • Excellent SAP Business Warehouse (BW) skills. • Working knowledge of the BEx Query/BW Query Designer • Working knowledge of multi-dimensional data structures and relational reporting environments • Knowledge of ABAP Programming Language preferred • Ability to generate and analyze complex requirements • An organized approach to day-to-day task management • Team skills—passionate to share ideas, work with and mentor other members to ensure the success of the team • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) and the ability to interact with all levels clients and management • Excellent technical documentation skills • Be able to work effectively in a cross-organizational environment • Change management skills around awareness and identification of impacts and integrating organization change management into the context of business planning and changes to the business plans. • Business knowledge to help identify issues and problems and take advantage of opportunities. • Process improvement, continuous improvement and innovation capabilities. Responsibilities: The SAP-BW/BPC developer will be part of a small team responsible for maintaining the integrity of the existing SAP BW on Hana data warehousing system, Hana Enterprise system, and related reporting systems. You will also be the primary support for SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) application running in BW. This position will require you to apply your analytical and technical expertise to interact with functional teams, gather requirements and deliver intelligent, pragmatic designs and solutions. You will own the development and/or specifications required for connecting source data to the SAP-BW data warehouse and modeling the data for consumption by the data consumer. Harnessing the growing capabilities of the SAP-BW system, you will be empowered to innovate and explore new functionality. Working as part of the SAP Business Intelligence Team, you will have opportunity for using the SAP BW Query Designer and reporting tools within the SAP Business Objects Suite. Provide advanced-level SAP Business Warehouse skills. • Translate business requirements into logical and physical data models • Design HANA data flows, optimizing for use of In-Memory computing and reduction of redundant data storage • Develop Persistence and Virtual objects in SAP-BW and SAP HANA • Architect and support ETL using SAP Data Services • Assist in development of BW Queries supporting Business Objects consumption • Perform requisite support of SAP BW and Data Services systems in line with Service Level Agreements, which may require on-call support. • Troubleshoot performance with queries and data flows • Expertise with Live Hana dataflows using SLT and/or BODS, SDI and SDA as source (persistent or virtual) with a target of Native Hana   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
