In the process of performing this work, the candidate will communicate extensively with scientists, research associates, operations managers, clinical data managers, analysts and vendor representatives. Duties may include: Workflow/program management: fielding requests for cancer genomic data, communicating with external partners who fulfill data requests, making data available internally for broader accessibility across the organization. Performing cancer genomic data analyses Tracking and communicating workflow/program metrics Supporting design, implementation, and improvement of workflow/program processes Communicating with program users to track usage of data in oncology R&D Working collaboratively to develop and maintain tools and resources for program workflows and data analyses (e.g. reference materials, FAQs, web portals) Scheduling & coordinating meetings among stakeholders, managing minutes and action items Required skills: Cancer biology or cancer genomics background Strong organizational skills with very high attention to detail Good collaborator with excellent communication skills Computational skills, including but not limited to Excel & Google suite Desired skills: Experience analyzing large datasets Experience with data visualization and/or data management Aptitude for project management Familiarity with genomic data resources (e.g. TCGA, cBioPortal, COSMIC, etc.) Education: Masters degree in genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, bioinformatics, or equivalent; or bachelors degree in a life science field with at least three years of experience working in the bio sciences   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
