Consultant shall provide support, maintenance, development, and analysis of the following modules of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12: Financials: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Asset Inventory; HRMS: Human Resources, Learning Management; Self-Service: Internet Procurement, Self-Service Human Resources (SSHR) Workflow: As embedded in the E-Business Suite. The Oracle E-Business Suite Consultant will be required to handle multiple roles under this SOW with appropriate skill levels or knowledge. Examples of roles and scope include, but are not limited to the following: While performing Applications System Administrator duties, Consultant may be required to - Act as Applications DBA supporting and maintaining application tiers of a Release 12 environment - Setup and configure Learning Management integration content servers - Support, manage and resolve issues with the integration of the Oracle E-Business Suite, content servers and a third party content providers - Analyze and resolve problems as well as propose and implement solutions related to the security of the E-Business Suite to include the implementation of Secured Socket Layers (SSL), Single Sign-On (SSO), and any issues pertaining to punch outs and the firewall - Complete on-going application tier patching and maintenance, including the technology stack - Upgrade the Oracle E-Business Suite, as needed and fulfill System Administrator responsibilities. While performing Developer duties, Consultant resource will be expected to: - Develop reports, processes and interfaces utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and HP-UX. While performing Functional Analyst duties, Consultant resource will require: - A thorough understanding of Financials/HR modules listed above and provide expert and expedited response to support requests, to provide training, and to gather requirements for enhancement. The Oracle E-Business Suite Consultant will be attached to the unit that supports Oracle E-Business Suite users. The Oracle E-Business Suite Consultant will primarily focus on Oracle Financials/HR-related development and implementation projects as business requirements dictates. Additionally, the Consultant resource will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance and resolving production problems. The Oracle E-Business Suite Consultant is responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance in resolving production problems to key user departments comprised of the Executive Committee-support departments: Business Services, Contracts & Purchasing, Fiscal & Investment Services, Human Resources (HR Operations, Organizational Development, and Learning & Development), Marketing, and Real Estate Management. Tasks of the Oracle Financials/HR Consultant include, but are not limited to the following: - Technical Lead for Tier-2 support for Oracle Internet Procurement and Oracle Self-Service HR. - Provides high level in-depth analysis to support Oracle Financials/HR Tech Support Unit staff - Diagnose and repair production application program problems (or create enhancements). - Create new application programs and/or interfaces - Review test plans and validate test results - Mentors staff members in programming and problem resolution. - Project management, as requested or required.
