This role requires strong DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING skills and expertise to drive the evolution of the test automation frameworks. Ideal Candidate will have experience with: - Service Management Teams deal with a very dynamic and fluid set of work and prioritizations. The system test engineer must be flexible to respond to these ever-changing conditions. - Possess knowledge and understanding of subsystems and interfaces, and possesses a basic understanding of vendor software integrations and interactions. - Good organization skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignment simultaneously using a variety of SDLC (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, ITIL Incident/Problem Management Processes). - Must be able to work under general supervision in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. - Attention to detail. - Based on business needs, may perform as both System Test Engineer and Quality Assurance Analyst for a project. - Interprets and manipulates computer programs or systems components with assistance. - Interacts closely with peers and business customers in the system analysis process and helps to gather requirements that facilitate system testing. - Identifies and makes recommendations to address typical testability challenges. - Participates in requirements reviews, design reviews, systems analysis and testing review discussions. Follows the established Test Strategy and risk analysis to guide testing efforts for assigned work. - Provides status and results of testing activities. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Basic knowledge of computer coding/programming languages and software development concepts - Basic knowledge of common testing methods, terminology and industry practices - Basic knowledge of data structures, data management practices, system interaction patterns and interfaces - Testing: Familiarity with software testing techniques (unit, integration, system, user acceptance, etc.) required - Experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks and scripts - Working knowledge of Visual Studio - Programming experience with C# EDUCATION -Bachelors Degree in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS) and a minimum four years of related work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs and applications. -In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years related work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.
