Their role will be more of an investigator to understand the underlying issues and then design solutions around those issues. These issues could be in any number of areas including on the network side, installation or configuration of software or tools, cloud issues or in the application itself. This person has to be comfortable rolling up their sleeves from time to time and building simple POCs to validate their designs. This person will need a strong understanding of DevOps principles and preferably have experience as an architect for applications hosted in Azure What do they need to SEE on a resume to want to IV this person? Investigate / trouble shoot issues with applications & platforms Design solutions Work with developers to implement and build the solutions designed Work on network or DevOps related issues Stay up to date on the latest tech What are the top 3 MUST HAVE requirements of the position (years exp, technical, etc.)? Project Scope / Business Need: Jakubs role is to manage delivery and support…Automation, technology etc. Candidate who left the role was a Developer who has moved into Solution / Enterprise Architecture (network / hardware / security being < Web Apps). Generic Solution Architecture is ideal so they can work on more than one project, one app… Gen Re has an Enterprise arm and Solutions arm…all of the Solution Architects typically work on one project as at a time, but 2 at most.
