The Information Architect should have the ability to analyze and present complex data with visual clarity in a simple, understandable fashion. The selected candidate will work closely with iPortal core Project team, the WBG Enterprise Architecture UX team and, the strategic vendor in the implementation of the interface . Project Scope: iPortal 1.0 Greater client centricity and integrated view of investment information Develop Client centric profiles Management of Client and Relationships Unified interface and integration for Client Engagement (CRM) Integration with Dashboards and Reports Customizable user interface and mobile compatible Build a geo-spatial view of project information Embed search components within context iPortal 1.5 Improved productivity; streamlined client Docs An optimized view for browsing and creating documents during investment processing for client docs aligning with industry best practices. A unified interface for client docs Extensible template management framework initially Collaborative editing of documents A central workspace ensures all team members have access to received documents Industry standard business process and flexible workflow management tools Activities: Specific activities and tasks covered in this engagement: Engage in the agile mode through the design phase of the project with strategic support through the length of the development phase. Strategic: Provide guidance on the UI architecture, navigation, flow. Provide guidance on integration approach to provide optimum user experience for a platform which is going to be a mash up of new and existing COTs products and some new and legacy custom solutions. Provide guidance on how the Information Architecture will work for IPortal within a phased approach while providing efficiencies and productivity gains in light of complex business processes and integration with many systems. Provide guidance on defining role based IA for user groups beyond, Investment Officer, Investment analyst, Portfolio Assistant, Manager, etc. Participate in all discussions related to UX for IPortal1.0 and IPortal 1.5 and provide strategic guidance on the overall approach and vision for IPortal. Design Develop the Information architecture layer of the IPortal, including: Recommend the best interaction patterns for the features and functionality identified for in IPortal with the specific focus on IPortal 1.0. and 1.5 iteration Design of the IA and the interaction for iPortal. (Desktop, Laptop, iPad and as needed on iPhone.) Input Leverage the work done so far to facilitate the design process with input from the following: Concept Wireframes - documenting the information needed to enable IOs to complete the specific tasks in the prioritized scenarios. Draft IA and navigation. Business requirements and business processes Functional requirements and feature list As-is Business process Existing portals/systems (iDesk, ASOP, CRM, Reporting dashboard, IFC Docs) Output: Strategic Finalized IA/Navigation for IPortal 1.0 and Iportal 1.5 UI Integration approach for best user experience, with COTS products, legacy systems and custom solution. Information Architecture and screen flow Wireframes depicting the screen flow and the information flow Guidelines for future IPortal Sprints Selection Criteria Knowledge of User Centered Design (UCD) approach with experience UX projects for enterprise level applications and platforms with.
