REQUIRED SKILLS:
-5+ years experience in application development
-Experience working in a software development life cycle environment
-Knowledge and experience in Technology including various architectures, languages, tools and applications

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
-Wipro Gallagher Solutions NetOxygen 2.4.6 or 3.x Framework preferred
-Mortgage Industry Experience preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Work together with the AD Lead and Business Systems Analysts during the Functional Design, Technical Design, and Build Phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
-Responsible for the writing of accurate technical specification documents and program code to create software that meets the requirements of the Functional and Technical Design documents.
-Accountable to deliver agreed specifications documents and software by the required dates.
-Responsible for working with code migration resources to deploy software into downstream environments (QA, UAT, Production, DR) using the JPMC change control tools/standards.
-Responsible for responding to and resolving any defects found during testing in an efficient and timely manner and identifying root cause in order to drive improvement in code quality.
-Required to communicate status of development deliverables to the Application Development Manager/Lead and raise any issues or constraints encountered that could affect the project deliverables or timetable.
-Design - prepare and understand the Technical Design documents and to produce program specification documents based on them.
-Coding - ensuring timely delivery of programming requirements based on project schedules and the PLC process.
-Required to design new or modify code to meet the Technology guidelines for architecture strategy and component re-use.
-May be required to provide out-of-hours coverage to support testing
-Required to work directly with Project Management and QA/UAT teams to provide support and defect resolution in a timely basis to ensure project milestones are achieved.
-Implementation - may be required to provide out of hours coverage to support software implementations such as the Application Development Manager/Lead requires.
