At least 5 years of experience. Network Operations Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing the network portfolio to ensure activities are performed at the level of an approved Quality Plan. Network Operations Quality Assurance is accountable for continuous improvement and reliability by identifying gaps, then by developing and delivering improvement recommendations to processes, policies, practices, tools, and metrics that support network reliability. The fundamental goal is to help ensure that the design and implementation teams are able to successfully deliver mission critical capabilities to the business As a key member of the Network Operations Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for providing technical consultation to the QA team, participating in network engineering design reviews to ensure that the implemented design meets network standards, building and implementing network test and compliance automation, evaluating current network monitoring strategies to ensure optimal network availability, providing technical coordination for QA projects, staying current with new and emerging technologies and platforms being deployed. You will provide governance to help ensure that technical process controls are adhered too in a timely and effective manner. You will support and drive policy and process improvements. Using scripting and data management skills, you will be responsible for leading QA compliance automation and instrumentation efforts that compliment compliance metrics reporting. Youll be expected to collaborate closely with various teams as well as other key partners, and leverage our service providers effectively. You must be able to analyze business drivers and then develop the appropriate testing solution(s) that allow the needs to be met within the required quality levels. This position is a hands-on, highly involved position. The ideal person will have a strong background in various networking technologies and a high level of experience writing automation scripts. This person should be able to interpret network standards to help identify specific improvement plans which will then be communicated to our outsource services suppliers to take action on. Other responsibilities include: Assist with the strategic QA roadmap including testing tools selection, processes & standards improvements. Participate in the creation of baseline performance standards and the means to measure those performances within the architecture. Create and implement governance policies for Best Practice, Common Practice and ITIL methodologies. Assist with the development of standard operating procedures and routine work instructions and assist with the development of automation efforts for these procedures. Define and implement testing guidelines and methodologies appropriate for the technologies being used. Possess the business knowledge to provide meaningful input to requirements that would improve end-user experience for new projects. Develop work plans and schedules for Test activities.
