Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Partners with users to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures which are cost effective and meet user requirements. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Combines general knowledge of multiple technology areas with knowledge of the targeted business function to define and document the business requirements Gathers business requirements by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with customers Writes functional and data requirements specifications and develops business process and data models that define the business needs Prepares detailed analysis and specifications Participates in Integration testing, including development of test plans, test cases and scenarios and documentation of results. Works with business to conduct User Acceptance Testing. Minimum Requirements 4+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems. Critical Skills Strong Analytical Skills. SQL or comparable database query tool. Ability to manage several tasks at once and prioritize accordingly. Ability to understand user requirements and communicate them in appropriate manner to development personnel. Experience with JD Edwards Distribution applications (Inventory, Sales Order Management and Purchase Order Management). Additional Knowledge & Skills: Detailed knowledge of building system solutions or business applications. Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.
