Responsibilities • Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. • Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organizations systems and capabilities. • Analyzes business partners operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. • Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. • Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. • Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. • Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprises competitive edge. • May make recommendations for buy vs. build decision Qualifications • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 3 years experience with technical writing, business analytics or related field. • Knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe lnDesign, etc. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize as necessary. • Willingness and desire to learn new applications, operating systems and technologies. • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work effectively with colleagues and clients in a team environment. • Must be well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated, with excellent oral and written communication skills. • Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
