The Project Manager must have good communication and organization skills. The Project Manager must be able to follow State, Department, OIT, and Application Services processes and procedures. This candidate must be a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI), have kept current with project management skills to include Agile, have a working understanding of Oversight Project Management responsibilities, possess strong business analysis skills, as well as a general understanding of State of Florida procurement methods and practices. This Project Manager must have knowledge of the requirements of Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C., which establishes the project management and oversight standards the Department must adhere to when implementing technology projects. The candidate must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques. In this role, the Project Manager at times may be required to perform both a dual role of Project Manager and Business Analyst on one or multiple projects. The cross disciplinary talent is a key component for this position. They must be able to manage multiple large and/or cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity that have a high impact on the enterprise. 5 Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communication, or another related field. Professional experience can substitute for bachelors degree. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is required. 6 Experience 1. Eight years of professional experience in Information Systems, Business Administration, or Communications. 2. Experience with public speaking, training, or communicating detailed information to large groups is required. 3. Experience working with Microsoft Office and SharePoint 365 is required. 4. Experience in managing complex, interrelated projects is required. 7 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks The activities this candidate will be tasked with include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Proactively manage assigned projects in accordance with established standards and DMS Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C. from project initiation through project closure. 2. Identify project organizational structure, stakeholders, and the responsibilities for decision-making and escalation. 3. Develop and manage the detailed project schedule with assigned resources, start dates, and end dates. Identify the critical path and monitor project progress with biweekly (or more frequent) updates to the project schedule. 4. Document, manage, and monitor the project scope. Ensure that project requirements are documented. 5. Document, manage, and monitor the project budget and associated spend plan. 6. Communicate project status and relevant project updates to stakeholders. 7. Identify, analyze, and monitor project risks, issues, action items, decisions, and lessons learned. 8.
