Complete list of equipment can be found in the “DOACCECCF.pdf” attachment. • The engineer will work directly with the AVS Wireless Engineer for directed EOL Access Points to replace and install new access points per the Wi-Fi upgrade design documents. • Remove designated EOL and failed wireless devices, including associated antennas. • Install a new WAP and antenna at designated location and removed EOL AP. • Provide daily updates on work accomplished. **Note: All new WAPs will be pre-programmed by an airport engineer and made available to the contracting engineer for installation. Wireless Engineer Work Requirement The Wireless Engineer will install new Wireless Access Points at designated locations. Job Duties consist of the following but not limited to: • Use of wireless Engineers own tools to remove, replace and install designated wireless access points and antennas. • Create and Journal reports and incident logs. • Standard knowledge of wireless network principles and practices relating to Cisco implementation methods necessary for proper installation and antenna orientations. • Wireless Engineer will generally have four (4) years or more experience in the installation of wireless access points. Cable Infrastructure Engineer • Validate previously installed CAT6A cable as being serviceable and less than 300 from WAP to closest switch. • Validate fiber from NEMA switch not in use to distribution switch point. • Repair and or replace any cable infrastructure that fails to pass testing. Areas of work to be performed. Level 3 – No work necessary Level 2 – approximately (20) 3802 WAPs to Install or replace existing hardware. Level 1 – approximately (30) 3802 WAPs to replace existing hardware. Level U – approximately (16) 3802 WAPs to replace existing hardware. Level G – approximately (23) 3802 WAPs and 13 1562 Mesh APs to replace existing hardware. Roof/Jet bridges – approximately (9) 1562 Mesh APs to replace existing hardware. Concourse E Level G – approximately (9) 1562 Mesh APs and 6 3802 WAPs to replace existing hardware. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Concourse F, on levels G, U. 1, 2, 3, upper roof and top of 5 Aircraft Jet Bridges, concourse E level G AGTS train support facility. Location: 6000 North Terminal Parkway, Atlanta GA 30320 Work Hours Will vary on coordinating with AIM-AIS IT Department. AIS Responsibilities AIS Wireless Engineer • Provide all missing or malfunctioning Access Points and/or Antennas. • Pre-Configure Wireless Access Points and clearly label the devices. • Confirm Access Points join the AIS wireless controllers. • Perform all post installation testing and validation. Non-Technical Skill(s): The contractor must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Must be a self-starter & be able to use own judgment/initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision.
