Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release. Required Skills and Experience: You provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience, Bachelors Degree. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications Analyzes requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented Should have progressing skills in Software Engineering Techniques, Software Engineering Architecture, Software Engineering Lifecycle and Data Management. Should have baseline skills on Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design. Must Have o 4+ years of SW development required o Experience in embedded software development (TI OMAP/Jacinto, NXP imx6, Renesas, NVidia, Qualcomm, etc.) is highly preferred. o Experience with Linux/Android device driver, firmware development/integration, porting and board bring up activity. o Experience in designing, developing and debugging software in a real-time embedded environment o Experience in uboot, bootloaders, and Board support package, file systems, USB stacks, networking stack and Linux kernel programming. o Should be able to design, code, and test SW modules independently. o Experience integrating or developing embedded solution with Android platform product development. o Expertise of high-end embedded RTOSs such as Linux, Android, etc. o Good analytical and communication skills Good to have: o Knowledge and experience with optical system HW highly preferred. o Electro-mechanical driver experience is a plus o Experience with camera/sensor driver is a plus. o Proficiency in Python is preferred.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
