A Requirements Analyst contractor is needed to initially support an existing line, which will split and they will be solely responsible for a separate line. You will collaborate to create the initial Product Backlog as well as work with Business App Owner to groom the Product Backlog to remove duplicates, remove outdated Story Cards and ensure that most important Stories are prioritized. Responsibilities: Understand the overall business vision and objectives, and provides the BAO / Business SMEs guidance on prioritization/release planning and overall Agile processes as they relate to requirements Proactively identifies risks and concerns on meeting commitments; promptly communicates them to the Scrum Master and Business Application Owner Resolves requirement blockers Coordinates requirements sessions, including setting agendas Works with the Development Team to answer questions for high-level estimations Work with the Business Application Owner, Business SMEs and Line Requirements Analyst(s) to ensure that User Stories directly address business objectives Identifies when changes are made to a User Story will result in variance from the business objective, budget or schedule and facilitates discussion on appropriate trade-offs and adjustments Ensures business acceptance/approval of User Stories in preparation for upcoming iteration (before development begins) Ensures standard processes and practices are followed and helps drive skill uplift Evaluates impacts in business processes as Product Backlog is changed and alert all appropriate stakeholders of these impacts Provides the team with enough information for appropriate estimation during the software development lifecycle. Aids in securing answers to outstanding questions in support of design and development Supports change management as well as risk and issue identification and management in the backlog.
