Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and skilled Multi-Cloud Engineer to join our team, specializing in providing support for multiple public cloud providers and their offerings. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and others, along with hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions across these environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Cloud Support:
• Provide expert-level technical support across multiple public cloud platforms, addressing issues, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assist in the design, deployment, and management of cloud solutions that span different providers.
2. Deployment and Migration:
• Implement and oversee the deployment of multi-cloud applications, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
• Manages and coordinates internal technologies not yet migrated to cloud. Investigates, develops, and executes cloud transition plans for remaining internal infrastructure.
3. Platform Expertise:
• Utilize deep knowledge of AWS, and Azure platforms to advise on best practices and guide decision-making.
• Manage and optimize resources across different cloud environments to maintain optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
4. Automation and Orchestration:
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to enable consistent and efficient resource provisioning.
• Implement orchestration strategies to streamline deployment and management processes across multiple clouds.
5. Security and Compliance:
• Enforce security measures and compliance standards across various cloud platforms, monitoring for vulnerabilities and ensuring data protection.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement consistent security practices across multi-cloud environments.
Qualifications:
• Required 4 – 7 years experience in cloud administrator role.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on multi-cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, multi-cloud strategy, and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security practices across different cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
