The primary need for this position is the upgrade of outdated operating systems at the Iowa Veterans Home. We are also seeing increased demand for the support of the following applications at the Iowa Veterans Home. ADL Data Systems, Framework LTC software, Kronos Timekeeping software, LMS Learning Management Software. Iowa Department of Revenue sees an annual increase in application use throughout Tax season; this results in an increased support requirement for Fairfax software, Teradata Policy Server, Biztalk, and Business Objects. This project will assist IVH in getting off their outdated Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 servers to a modern cloud-based patient management system. This position will also provide backup support for IDR applications through the critical Tax season. Day-to-day: • 60% Upgrading IVH Windows application servers, which are running outdated IIS and old, unsupported Windows-based operating systems. • 20% Supporting IVH and IDR applications when code changes get made, or server upgrades cause the application to become non-functional. These are mission-critical applications for IVH and IDR that are still running on outdated software. • 10% Backup for our primary AWS administrator. Requirements: • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008 • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft IIS Web Server. • Minimum of 2 years of experience with ADL Systems (Must have) • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Framework LTC (Must have) • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Biztalk support • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Fairfax software support • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Kronos Timekeeping software • Minimum of 1 year of experience with Amazon Web Services Administration   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
